Catalog description

This course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance of jazz ensemble literature, with an emphasis on the development of skills needed to perform within a specialized ensemble. Different literature will be studied each semester. The course is repeatable for credit the maximum times allowable by regulation. Grades are P/NP option. Repeatable: four times only. Entrance Skills: Audition required. (Students may enroll in the course but may be dropped depending on the result of the audition.)
