Precalculus with Support

Catalog description

Preparation for calculus with additional support: polynomial, absolute value, radical, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their graphs; analytic geometry, polar coordinates. Support includes a review of prerequisite skills, competencies, and concepts needed for success in Precalculus. Grades are Pass/No Pass option. Requisite requirement: Placement as determined by the college's multiple measures assessment process or completion of a course taught at or above the level of intermediate algebra. Limitations on Enrollment: Course not open for credit to students with credit in MATH 7. Course not open for credit for students with credit in the combination of MATH 21 and MATH 20.
