This course provides a general introduction to visual art through selected examination of art from diverse cultures of the world from prehistoric period to the present. It includes an examination of the elements of art, historical context and terminology, visual elements, design principles and visual art media. Grades are P/NP options. Limitations on Enrollment-Course not open for credit to students with Credit in ART-5
