Intro World Myth

Catalog description

This class explores the global expression of myth and compares and contrasts ethnic and universal messages of myth. World Myth studies life's great themes across many cultures and includes traditional expressions of myth in art and music. This class will cover myths from around the world, including at least six of the following cultures each semester: India, Mesopotamia, Africa, North and SouthAmerica, Celtic, Nordic, Egyptian, South East Asia, China, Japan, Aztec, Incan, and Native American. Grades are P/NP options.
