Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and practices of digital video editing using non-linear editing software. Students will explore editing theory and apply a variety of editing styles to footage from multiple sources, gaining insight into how editing choices shape audience response. The curriculum includes critical analysis of the editing process, techniques for editing complex scenes, and the creation of basic visual effects. Through hands-on projects, students will build a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of digital editing.
