Catalog description
This course fulfills the California State Title 22 requirements designed to give the entry level rescuer/firefighter, peace officer and lifeguard training in First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and AED. The course includes training in the following areas: CPR, AED, patient assessment, splinting, bleeding control, bandaging, airway management, shock treatment, medical emergencies, trauma emergencies, infectious disease control, and emergency childbirth. Grades are Pass/No Pass Only. (L)
