Catalog description
Human Physiology is designed to introduce the physiological principles of function, integration, regulation and homeostasis of the human body. It includes topics at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and organ levels found within all eleven organ systems. Laboratory includes activities such as EEGs, EMGs, EKGs, blood tests, spirometric measurements, urinalysis, digestion experiments, and many others. The clinical aspects of evaluating and maintaining health are also discussed in lecture and laboratory. Prerequisite: BIOL-1 or BIOL-15.
