Catalog description
An introduction to the gross, microscopic and organizational structure of the human body. Emphasizes the interrelationship between structure and function of cells, tissues, organs, organ systems and the human body as a whole. Lab activities include use of Histology, Osteology, Myology, Neuroscience, and a Human cadaver specimen when applicable. The course is primarily intended for nursing, allied health, kinesiology, and other health related majors. Prerequisite: BIOL-1 or BIOL-15.
