Catalog description
The science of life for non-science majors. Provides an overview of the world of living organisms including their classification and unifying characteristics. Introduces basic biological processes such as homeostasis, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, DNA function, cellular reproduction, evolution, and ecosystem interactions with an emphasis on the relationship of structure to function and the interrelationships of living organisms. Grades are Pass/No Pass option. Not open for credit to student with credit in BIOL 10L.
