Designed to provide the basic concepts and skills for "entry level" Probation Officer, includingoverall mission, role and function in the California Juvenile and Adult Justice System; major tasksand responsibilities; and competency in various knowledge and skill requirements. MeetsCalifornia Corrections Standards Authority, Division of Standards and Training for Corrections (STC)requirements for "entry level" Probation Officers. Entrance Skills: Medical History and Medical Clearance; Admission through Administration of Justice application process.
