Catalog description

Overviews current educational practices that have made collaboration essential to the way educational professionals do their work. This course will cover the theoretical bases and consultation/collaboration skills necessary for affecting change in the educational environment from a system-wide perspective. The aim of this course is to prepare candidates to function as collaborative consultants promoting systematic and planning strategies for use within the public schools, in collaboration with families, to provide services to children with disabilities. Prereq.: MEd in Intervention Services Candidate.
