Catalog description

The physical principles accounting for the production, propagation, and perception of sound waves. The relevance of these principles to phenomena ranging from hearing to the operation of various musical instruments. Introduction to auditorium acoustics. This course is designed for Music majors. Not applicable to the Physics major or to the combined Astronomy and Physics major. Gen Ed : Natural Science, Natural Science 2024.
