Students perform comprehensive and focused assessments, formulate differential diagnoses, and begin managing common acute health problems under direct preceptor supervision. Emphasis is placed on accurate data collection, diagnostic reasoning, interprofessional communication, and the development of professional identity within acute and critical care settings. Prereq.: NURS 7037 with a grade of B or better and NURS 7039 with a grade of B or better and NURS 7041 with a grade of B or better.
