Catalog description

This course focuses on advanced concepts of nursing care as they relate to patients across the lifespan with complex, multisystem alterations in health. Emphasis is placed on implementing time management and organizational skills while managing the care of patients with multiple needs and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Clinical experiences may include caring for multiple patients and are provided in a variety of settings. 3 hours lecture and 6 hours clinical per week. Prereq.: C or better in NURS 3796 and 3796L , NURS 3795 and 3795L , NURS 3794 . Coreq.: NURS 4899L , HAHS 5875 OR a 3-hour elective.
