Catalog description

This course provides mental health theories and strategies as the foundation in the management of individuals, families, and groups experiencing acute and chronic mental illness. Emphasis on the promotion of optimal level functioning and mental wellness. Three hours lecture, six hours clinical experience in a variety of settings per week. Prereq.: NURS 3743 /3743L; Entry-level BSN senior status.
