Catalog description
This course focuses on the care of patients across the lifespan experiencing mental and behavioral disorders. Emphasis is placed on promoting and maintaining the mental health of individuals and families. Wellness for the student and practicing nurse are included. Clinical experiences are provided in a variety of mental health settings. Prereq.: C or better in NURS 2696 , NURS 2696L , NURS 2695 . Coreq.: NURS 3797L .
