Catalog description

This course focuses on the care of patients across the lifespan with a focus on adults experiencing health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention. Emphasis is placed on the care of patients with alterations in selected body systems (neurological, immunity, reproductive, gastrointestinal, integumentary, and renal). 3 hours lecture, six hours clinical per week are provided in a variety of settings. Prereq.: C or better in NURS 3799 , NURS 3798 and 3798L , NURS 3797 and NURS 3797L . Coreq.: Taken concurrently with NURS 3795L .
