Introduces the concepts of maternal newborn and pediatric nursing care designed to promote, maintain, and restore health for the childbearing family, newborn, child, and adolescent utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based interventions. Students must pass both NURS 3740 and NURS 3740L in order to successfully pass the course. Three hours of lecture per week. Prereq.: NURS 2625 . Coreq.: NURS 3740L .
