Catalog description

This course utilizes evidenced-based interventions designed to promote, maintain, treat and restore mental health. Therapeutic communication is emphasized in the care of the patients including complex psychiatric patients. Legal and ethical issues are explored. Care is given in a variety of settings. This course is comprised of the following hours/week for seven weeks, three hours lecture and six hours clinical. Prereq.: NURS 2625 .
