Catalog description
This course will focus on the care of complex, diverse clients with various physiological disorders and associated psychological effects. The clinical emphasizes concepts of care of diverse, complex patients across the lifespan including caring behaviors and interventions, managing care, collaboration, palliation, safety, quality improvement, informatics, advanced assessment skills, and communication. This course will address nursing care issues from a multi-disciplinary collaborative perspective. This course is comprised of the following hours/week: four hours lecture and eight hours clinical ( NURS 3715L ). Prereq.: NURS 2625 and NURS 2625L . Coreq.: NURS 3715L .
