Provides prospective choral educators with enough familiarity with instruments to enable them to rehearse mixed choral / instrumental groups competently and to work with or assist instrumental specialists. Includes a functional overview of all instruments and emphasizes basic teaching strategies for common brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments at a beginner to advanced beginner level. Prereq.: MUED 2622 with a grade of "C" or better and sophomore standing.
