Reading of selections from a Latin author or genre with emphasis on translation and interpretation of text. Review of Latin grammar, introduction to relevant modern scholarship, and writing of evaluative essays. May be repeated once if topic is different. Prereq.: LATN 2603 and permission of Chair.
