Through lectures and readings, this course examines and interprets the industrial built environment. This includes, but is not limited to, factories, neighborhoods, infrastructure, and commercial districts that make up the fabric of industrial communities. Prereq.: Graduate standing and completion of HIST 6942 or permission of instructor.
