Catalog description

Observation, collection and analysis of data pertaining to the Earth’s weather and climate, surface landforms, drainage systems, soils, vegetation and changing global environmental conditions. In-class labs, local field excursions, and web-based assignments enable students to investigate these phenomena using the scientific method. The class meets two hours each week. Optional lab to accompany GEOG 1503 . Prereq.: GEOG 1503 or concurrent with GEOG 1503 . Gen Ed : Natural Science Lab.
