Catalog description
This course is designed as an introduction to the basic concept of industrial hygiene and to provide students with a broad understanding of the field. Major emphasis of the course will be recognition of hazards in the workplace which may cause sickness, impaired health or well-being. Evaluation or measurement of those hazards and application of control strategies. May require permission of instructor. Prereq.: CHEM 1515 or equivalent.
