Catalog description

This capstone course serves as the culminating experience for students in environmental science. It is designed to demonstrate advanced knowledge in environmental science and the ability to apply critical thinking skills through an extended written discussion of an environmentally related topic. In this culminating project, students research and analyze a real-world issue in environmental science. The primary goal is to apply the knowledge skills and abilities gained throughout the program in a practical and comprehensive way. This capstone requires two key components: a written report and a final presentation. Senior standing in Environmental Science or permission of instructor. Prereq.: C or better ENST 3751 and ENST 3751L or ENST 3752 or ENST 4885 and ENST 4885L.
