Catalog description

Study of visual elements across a range of historical and contemporary rhetorical practices and genres. Students explore the rhetorical implications of design and analyze how design and writing work together as an integrated process. Students work with specific technological tools to analyze existing texts and to create single- and multi-paged texts for particular rhetorical purposes, audiences, and contexts. Prereq.: ENGL 1551 (Writing 2) or ENGL 1551H (Honors Writing 2) with grade of "C" or higher.
