Catalog description

Application of economic theory to environmental problems, analysis of policy alternatives for pollution abatement, and the conservation of exhaustible resources, with an emphasis on the economic consequences of and potential policies used to address these issues. Determination of efficient management of local and national pollution levels, including air, water, and toxic substances. Prereq.: ECON 1501 or ECON 2610 ; 2.5 GPA.
