Study of well performance and surface production operations, emphasizing inflow performance, nodal analysis, artificial lift methods, well stimulation, flow assurance, separation, and storage systems. Economic considerations such as cost estimation, risk assessment, and project evaluation are also incorporated. Permission of instructor. Prereq.: C or better in CHEN 1501 and ( MATH 3705 or MATH 3705H ) and ( MATH 2673 or MATH 2673H ) and ( PHYS 1501 or PHYS 2610 ).
