Catalog description

Principles and applications of formation evaluation methods for reservoirs. Topics include well logging tools and techniques, interpretation of log data, porosity and saturation analysis, and integration of core and well test data to characterize subsurface formations. Permission of instructor required. Prereq.: C or better in CHEN 1501 and ( MATH 1571 or MATH 1571H ) and ( PHYS 1502 or PHYS 2611 ). Cross-Listed: GEOL 4825 .
