Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental engineering principles and practices involved in the exploration, development, and production of petroleum and related energy resources. Topics include petroleum geology, drilling, reservoir and production operations, refining and petrochemicals, and the integration of emerging technologies in energy transition, carbon management, and sustainable resource development. Emphasis is placed on understanding how petroleum systems fit within the broader global energy landscape.
