This course provides an overview of polymer chemistry with focus on synthetic approaches, characterization techniques, and polymer applications. Topics include step-growth, chain-growth, and controlled polymerization methods; spectroscopic, thermal, and mechanical characterization of polymers; and the use of polymeric materials in industrial, biomedical, and emerging technological applications.
