Introduction to the methods of chemical research under the direction of a faculty member. May include literature search and analysis, instructional laboratory development, and/or original basic or applied research. May be repeated to a maximum of 4 s.h. Prereq. or Coreq.: CHEM 1516 and approval of department chairperson.
