Catalog description

Behavior and design of concrete elements subject to flexure, shear, axial and combined effects. Emphasis on reinforced concrete design in accordance with the ACI Code including beams, T-beams, slabs, walls, and columns. An introduction to prestressed and precast concrete design. Two hours lecture, one hour design lab per week. Prereq.: "C" or better in both CCET 3706 and CCET 3709 .
