Catalog description

Examination of fundamental evolutionary mechanisms integral to such covered topics as natural selection, drift, genetic variance maintenance, gene flow consequences, phylogenetic resolution, modes of speciation, coevolution, cooperation and mating system structure. Ecological concepts will be integrated throughout. Restrictions: Instructor consent. Prereq.: BIOL 2601 and BIOL 2602 .
