Catalog description

Introduction to the diversity of vascular and nonvascular plants and their interactions with the environment, emphasizing morphology, phylogenetics, and ecological dynamics across major plant lineages. Students explore plant form and function through microscopy, DNA sequences, and modern biodiversity tools. Three hours lecture, two hours lab. Prereq.: BIOL 2602 (grade 'C' or better in).
