Topics in European Art from the beginnings of Christianity through the Gothic period (500 and 1500 A.D.). Specific content varies by semester and may include a general survey of Medieval art, or in-depth topics such as Early Christian and Byzantine art or Medieval sculpture. May be taken twice for credit if content differs. Prereq.: ART 1541 or consent of instructor.
