This course in Advanced Talmud will explore cases of monetary conflict which lack definitive evidence and proof needed to resolve the case. In these instances, what factors does beit din utilize to guide their resolution, especially given the lingering uncertainty? Special attention will be paid to the relative weight ascribed to physical possession as compared with strength of claim.
