This course in Advanced Talmud will explore the gets status as a sefer, a formal document, as opposed to an informal written narrative will be analyzed along with its implications for how the get is composed and the materials used. The relationship between the writing of the get and the deliverance of the get will be investigated and the determination of which constitutes the primary stage in the process.
