Catalog description

This course will explore the social forces, prevalence, types, dynamics, effects, and interventions specific to working with populations impacted by trauma. This course will examine the many faces of trauma including national and community trauma, military trauma, accidents, life threatening events, as well as interpersonal trauma. Students will learn to critically evaluate the conceptual and methodological approaches of published peer-reviewed research relating to trauma. Restriction(s): For DSW students only.
