Grounding Strengths Perspectives

Catalog description

This course provides students with a substantial toolkit of practice interventions grounded in strengths-based biopsychosocial practice models. An emphasis is placed upon meditations and exercises that can be done to affect change and strengthen relationships among individuals, families and communities. Special emphasis will be placed on anchoring students in humanistic social work theory.
