Catalog description
This PhD seminar will provide students with the necessary information for writing a publishable article, which includes the selection of a topic, target audience, appropriate journal, and impact factors, as well as the importance of the organization of content and the review process. Emphasis will be placed on developing an understanding of the editorial and peer review process and developing writing skills to include a personal writing process and writing habits, as well as highlighting impediments to writing. Prerequisite(s): SWK 8421 , SWK 8406 , SWK 8425 , SWK 8809 , SWK 8814 , SWK 8422 , SWK 8823 and SWK 8296 .
