Catalog description

The course is designed to facilitate student knowledge of addictive phenomena and its relation to social work practice issues. A specific focus will be placed on contemporary issues in substance use assessment and diagnosis, as well as the impact of one's own values, attitudes, and life experiences on one's view of addiction.
