Advanced Practicum II

Catalog description

This is the second part of a two-semester, sequenced course designed to provide students with supervised, advanced practice experience at a social service agency or organization. Students complete 600 hours in the agency or organization setting across two semesters ( SWK 6535 and SWK 6536 ). Each student receives a minimum of one hour of weekly, individual practicum instruction from an MSW-level social worker. Prerequisite(s): SWK 6013 , SWK 6023 , or SWK 6033 ; and SWK 6535 . Corequisite(s): SWK 6014 , SWK 6024 or SWK 6034 . Previously offered as SWK 6536C.
