Catalog description
This course will introduce students to the fundamental knowledge base and the practical application of skills in social work practice. This course provides students with introductory knowledge of social work methodology within the context of agency-based practice with individuals, families, and communities. Students are expected to coalesce the knowledge they will be gaining through their practicum, readings, and classroom discussions in order to forge meaningful interactions with their clients. Corequisite(s): SWK 6531 .
