Cognitive Neuroscience

Catalog description

Cognitive Neuroscience is an investigation into the neurobiological underpinnings of cognitive functioning. The course will focus on neural pathways, clinical studies and contemporary research in the cognitive domains of object perception and form recognition, memory, attention, and language. Some classes will be devoted to lab activities including reading an MRI, dissecting a brain, and using behavioral measures to investigate brain functioning. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 2150 .
