The contribution of psychological factors to the development, course, and treatment of physical illness and disease. Research methodology, basic theories, empirical studies, and clinical applications. Factors covered include weight control, alcoholism, smoking, heart and respiratory disease, cancer, and chronic illness. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 1010 .
