Research Project I

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to concepts and challenges in designing research. This is the first course in the research sequence and facilitates the development of research skills and the doctoral research project. Students will also assist in research tasks for ongoing lab projects including literature reviews, IRB applications, data collection, and data analysis and interpretation. Separate sections of this course are offered by each research advisor for their specialty areas of emphasis.
