Internship II in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Catalog description
This is the second half of our internship courses. This course will foster the integration of process, conceptual, professional and personal skills intended for the mental health counseling profession. Students are expected to be actively engaged in a clinical setting, progressing towards completing their internship hours by the end of the year. Through guided activities, students integrate their learning and demonstrate proficiency in applying knowledge, skills, and abilities in clinical practice, especially working with at risk clients. Both group and individual supervision support students in their ongoing clinical placements, incorporating detailed feedback and fostering in-depth discussions, often based on videotaped client interactions. Prerequisite(s): PSM 6700 .
