Catalog description

This course aims to support students in developing a program of research in behavioral medicine with a focus on cardiovascular disease and related health behaviors (e.g., physical activity). We will explore how social, cultural, and medical contexts shape psychological and physical health outcomes for individuals affected by cardiovascular disease, with an emphasis on research and clinical interventions that incorporate multiple levels (e.g. individual- and family-levels) and center vulnerable and underserved communities.
